The Inhumane Human

Last month another surfer died from a fatal shark attack in Australia. This event resulted in surfers joining forces to call for the killing of sharks.

As humans, our territory is on land. If we were meant to control the skies, we would have been given wings, and if we were meant to control the seas and oceans, we would have been designed to breathe underwater. The Creator created for us many natural water sources: lakes, ponds, rivers, fountains, streams -- so that we would not tamper with the seas or oceans. This is why there is salt in the them, so we do not drink from them, or bother the huge creatures he put in them to control the food chain. The salt content found in huge bodies of water is extremely vital to the elevation of the earth. This can be explained through basic physics or metaphysics.

At the same time, wild creatures were also placed in jungles and forests to keep humans out of them. Plants are vital to purifying the atmosphere. And many wild animals rely on plants as their food and medicine. Had the Creator not placed animals like tigers, wolves, bears, and other big creatures in untamed regions which are intended to remain inhabited, he knew that mankind would take over those areas -- leaving nothing for the animals.

For surfers to call for the killing of sharks just so that they can play in the water with no fear -- is not only cruel and selfish, but also very ignorant and childish. Water on every shoreline across the world is typically set very low so that big creatures cannot come too close, and that we would not go in too deep to get too close to the big creatures. In other words, space was created by divine design for us to enjoy oceans and seas, and that space was intentionally designed to have a limit.

We are not more superior to animals. Animals have hearts and minds too. They are capable of love, hatred, jealousy, revenge, hunger, fear, joy, and caring for their own and others. We look at animals as if they are inferior because we consider them to be savage and not civilized, but in truth, it is US who are not being civil by drawing lines between us and them -- and ignoring their territories. A wild animal's life is very straightforward. They spend their time searching and gathering food, mating, building homes, meditating and playing with their loved ones. They enjoy the simplicities of life without any of our technological gadgetry, materialism, mass consumption, wastefulness, superficiality, mindless wars, excessive greed and hatred. While we get excited by the aural vibrations coming from our TV sets, headphones and car stereos, they get stimulated by the vibrations of nature. So, just because animals may lack the sophisticated minds to create the technology we do or make brick homes and highways like us, does not mean their connections to the etheric world isn't more sophisticated than anything we could ever imagine. That means they are more spiritual, reflective, cosmic, and tuned into alternate universes beyond what our eyes can see. So in other words, ANIMALS are more advanced than us. They have the simple beauty we lack and the spiritual contentment we may never achieve. - Suzy Kassem
